First Year Part C Information Packets


Service Provider Information Packet

First Year Part C Service Provider Information Packets are available to early intervention service providers in their first year of working with a Local Part C network, or who are new to the early intervention system in Kansas. This packet is not available to Part C service providers who have previously worked in other Kansas early intervention networks and have changed positions within Kansas.

Included in these packets are brochures and other information available through the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, resources regarding writing Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), information on transition, copies of the Division for Early Childhood Recommended Practices: Toolkits – CD-ROM, The Early Childhood Coaching Handbook and Cara's Kit: Teacher Version and many other valuable resources.


Coordinator Information Packet

First Year Part C Coordinator Information Packets are available to administrators and coordinators directing Part C early intervention networks or who are new to ECSE in Kansas. This packet is not available to administrators who have been in administrative positions in other Part C networks and have changed positions within Kansas.

Included in these packets are copies of the Division for Early Childhood Recommended Practices Program Assessment, the Division for Early Childhood Recommended Practices Workbook, and The Early Childhood Coaching Handbook, brochures and other information available through the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, technical assistance bulletins from Kansas Department of Health and Environment, information on transition, reporting requirements for Part C networks, and many other valuable resources.
