Best Practice Documents

One way that the KITS staff has been involved in interagency collaboration has been in the ongoing development, revision and dissemination of best practice documents in early childhood and early childhood special education. The Kansas Guidelines for Implementation of Early Childhood Special Education Services is one of these documents. The purpose of this document is to provide information, assistance and clarification for teachers, program coordinators, and administrators about the application of Part B rules and regulations to early childhood special education services for young children age three through five.
